From the end of Tucquala Meadows, the Deception Pass Trail #1376 glides up through second generation mixed forest on a slight incline. The incline quickly settles into a nearly flat trail, threading through trees and meadows and crossing a couple of large streams. After a quick 2.0 miles, arrive at campsites and your first access to the lake.

From here, t’s another 0.7 miles to Little Hyas Lake, a small lake just far enough beyond the end of Hyas Lake. Find campsites and lake access along the way.
