From Enumclaw, take State Route 410 east 42.8 miles to a large parking area on the left just before passing Tipsoo Lake. From Naches follow SR 410 west 52 miles to the parking area next to the lake. Privy available. View Google Directions >>
From parking area, follow the main boot path down to Tipsoo Lake. The trail branches off in either direction to loop around the lake and take a peek at the bounty of wildflowers that fill the meadows and Yakima Peak rising above the lake. This is a perfect hike for little ones: between the water and the flowers there’s plenty to see and the virtually flat is short enough to get through for even the youngest hiker.
